Being HIV/AIDS Positive

On our World AIDS Day event, we had a guest speaker named Mr. Love. As the audience was sitting at the edge of their seats he spoke about his teenage years. He got to the point where he shared about losing his virginity. To sum it all up, the first time he had sex he contracted HIV. It was very surprising, this was the first time I met an HIV/AIDS positive person. When I found out, it reminded me that AIDS doesn't really have a face. It really doesn't have a face, he looked healthy, he looked  just like anyone else.  I feel more educated listening to a story from someone who has personally experienced it.  I encourage you to know your status!
